The 2nd Australian International Chopin Piano Competition was held from 15 - 21 September 2014 at the ANU School of Music, Canberra, Australia.

The Competition was under the direction of Maciej Pawela (ANU School of Music), and was partnered with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Canberra, and the Friends of Chopin Australia.

​

Professor Wojciech Switala joined the jury from Poland, and gave a recital on the ANU School of Music's newly acquired 1847 Pleyel Grand Piano as part of a Festival day for the public which included a lecture from Dr Gemma Betros on the history of Pleyel et Cie.
